Snowman (I do mean made of snow) left at my front door

Last night after dark there was a snowman with eyes and smile and buttons delivered to my front door on a sled. It was pulled into place and the builders rang the bell and ran. I chase barefooted outside around the house without catching them.
Frosty has the cutest eyes and smile. The builders are three boys Sam 7, Seth 6, and his friend Mathew 6. Heavenly Father sends beautiful blessing so many ways.
May I smile today as Frosty is still standing at my front door.

Whatever Happens Is for the Best --Grandma Mary

My mom Grandma Mary always used to say "Whatever happpens is for the best". I have decided that this is great faith. She believed we as a family were always being watched over and guided. Whatever happened was under the direction of God. We do have free agency but our lives are guided.

Thank You Heavenly Father for watching over us so abundantly.

There was enough money to pay Property Taxes and take care of other obligations for Dec. We have been blessed again.

To Peru with Eagle-Condor

Val, myself, Liesl and Chandler leave Friday morning for a humanitian expedition to Peru. As a friend said we got to build a beautiful home for us and now we get to go build two room homes for those who have lost their homes in an earthquake in August. We have been packing a repacking the 12 suitcases mostly humanitian aid including tools to build when we get there. It has been felt good in my heart as we buy and pack hygiene kits for families, school kits, white shirts, find room for a soccer ball and 42 rubber balls and new tools and some experienced ones to build with.
See a day with Marta under http://smile-adventures.blogspot.com/.
God blesses us so richly.

The Strength Of Family Women

Marta is here from St. George with 6 of 7 kids. Today started with Val and his girls- Heidi, Keri, Marta, Chandler, & Liesl walking the trail by the river up Little Cottonwood Canyon. We have healthy beautiful physical bodies. Val always has prayer at his chosen prayer place. It starts the day with a love for each other and reverence for God and his creations for us.
We had the privilege of voting today. We were all strong supporters of school vouchers to let Moms and Dads have more choice in education and say no to very strong unions that want all the money and not have any competition.
Keri and I got to spend the day with Marta and her kids and meet Katie and her boys and Heidi and Seth for the afternoon together. At 6:30 there was a baby shower for Mark Mangone's wife Dayna and Keri. Paula fixed some food and family women gathered at Heidi's. We woman love and care about each other and show strong support as cousins and aunts sisters and mothers gathered. The was much laughter and love. It felt great to the soul to be together.

Crescent Smiling Moon and Morning Star

Yesterday I asked the question: How do we feel God's Love, He doesn't tell us the same way family members do by hugging us and saying"I Love You" several times a day-so how can I feel God's Love?
The answer came about 4:30 this morning I opened my eyes and shinning gloriously through my window was a smiling crescent moon and right next to it the Morning Star which represents the Resurrected Saviour. The moon was smiling and bright symbolizing that God is pleased with me. I watched it for an hour feeling loved by God just for me.
Thank You Heavenly Father.
My memory is flooded with numerous other occasions when something beautiful comes just to me and I feel God's love.
Sometimes I just question my own value and i need His reassurance that to Him I am valued.
Thank You for sending your love so beautifully this morning Heavenly Father.
May I show my love for you today through my actions. Please guide me.
XOXOXO

Sunday Nov 4, 2007
Today we held a family fast for our Seth Stapel. He will be turning 6 this month and was just found to have one eye that has never focused. It is lazy eye and he now has a patch to put on one eye and glasses.
He is such a miracle kid. How he made it here is a miracle by God. Everyone in the family joined today in fasting and then giving him a special blessing.
Grandpa Chris Paulsen anointed him with healing oil and Val Paulsen, his grandfather gave him a blessing that his eye would be healed yet wearing these glasses would help give him compassion for others.
Jeremy and Heidi the Red were able join us and The Harrs fasted and by means of the speaker phone were able to hear the song, prayer, and blessing.

Our Bishop spoke real recently on the proper way to fast. Healing Seth was a sufficient reason to fast the full 24 hours and with a purpose and pay a fast offering.
It may take time for the outcome of this blessing. It is good that we can turn to the Lord for special requests.
